Herbaceous plants that grow naturally in Bandirma (Balikesir) and its surroundings and are sold in the market places and ways to benefit from them

This study aims to determine the plants that grow naturally in Bandırma and its surroundings and are used for various purposes by the local people between the years 2019-2021. The samples of the plants that make up the material of the study were obtained from the neighborhood markets or from the interviews with people who are thought to have knowledge and experience on this subject. Determination of the collected plants was made. For this work, various flora books and scientific articles, especially Flora of Turkey, were used. The local names, usage patterns and purposes of the determined plants were noted. As a result of the study, 19 flowering plant taxa were determined, and the data supported by the literature were presented in a list in this thesis text. Keywords: Bandırma, Economical Plants
