Abstract (EN)
İn this case," Glass Ceiling Syndrome" on the banking sector was examined by the problems that female employees faced in business life.The relationship between glass ceiling syndrome and the career problems of bank employees had been examined. It has been determined whether the sub-dimensions differ according to the demographic variables. As a research, Between March - June 2017 dates,135 employees of İstanbul based private capital banks appired the questionaire that includes 7 demographic,35 glass ceiling syndrome questions, the results were analyzed and interpreted. As a result of research, It has been determined that glass roof top syndrome perceptions of private bank employees are generally medium level. The most prominent sub dimension of glass roof top syndrome is Family Life and the least evident sub dimension is Factors in the rise of women in career stages. A significant relationship was found between Gender & education level sub dimensions and glass roof top syndrome. There is no statistical relationship between marital status, number of children, income, position and age sub dimensions and glass roof top syndrome.
