Abstract (EN)
This dissertation reviews the importance of management information systems for banks and effects of these technologies on employees' work life. In Chapter 1 and 2, theoretical knowledge on information systems and management information systems-one of the major branches of informatics- is given, and Chapter 3 presents theoretical information on the concept of banking and banking industry. Chapter 4 contains a survey study conducted on employees in banking sector. The application part of the study tries to measure the obtained efficiency of the users taking the advantage of information systems, and pursuit of innovation in the sector, saving time, administrative performance of the managers, operational errors and risks in the banks in which technology is heavily used, and the outcomes obtained have been assessed without being subjected to any generalization that applies to officials or institutions.
