Recruitment process in banks: An application on public and private sector banks

Abstract (EN)

This study, generally gives information about recruitment process and how this process being applied.In order to be survived, the enterprises have to change in these days in which competition and rapid technological development increase. As a result human resources management which arranges relations with employees has been an important department.Human resources management?s main function which provides the continuity of corporations is named as recruitment which indicates circulation of employees. The function of selection is efficiently achieved in order to reach the proper resources for job and corporation. Therefore renovations and developments about employment area should be closely pursuited.The goal of this study, to discuss every details of recruitment and to explain recruitment applications in banking sector and give some proposals.In the first part of the study the meaning of human resources management, the aim of human resources management are mentioned. Also, conceptual frames of relationships between human resources department and employment have been formed.In the second part, the importance of the recruitment process has been studied with the recruitment steps.A questionary about recruitment process in public and private banks has been applied and the differences between them are determined at the end of the research. According to results the changes which the banks ought to apply at the process of recruitment have been indicated. Also, the important points of recruitment for candidate employee are emphasized.
