Human right to peace and implementation of right to peace

The PhD thesis which is called ?Human Right to Peace and Implementation of Right to Peace? consists of two parts. In the first part of the thesis, ?peace? as a study field and the right to peace is described and certain debates predicating on solidarity rights is presented briefly. In this context, negative peace and positive peace is discussed. Then the duty holders, right holders and the basic elements of the right to peace is evaluated.In the second part, realisation of the right to peace is discussed. Therefore the mentioned discussion is limited by conscientious objection, disarmament process and the role of United Nations. The role of United Nations is discussed in the framework of humanitarian intervention and peace operations. In this part the main questions will be presented whether the use of force for the sake of peace is acceptable.Key words: The right to peace, negative peace, positive peace, conscientious objection, disarmament, peace operations.
