Abstract (EN)
In this study, micropropagation of three cultivars of Spathiphyllum was studied by shoot tip culture. In the first step of micropropagation, plantlets were transferred in to the MS media containing Kin (0.0, 1.0, 2.0 mg/l) and BA (0.0, 1.0, 2.0 mg/l. In the second part of the study, multiplication ratio of three varieties of Spathiphyllum was tested in the MS media containing BA (0.0, 0.5, 1.0, 2.0 mg/l) and NAA (0.0, 0.5, 1.0 mg/l) combinations. In the third part of the study, multiplication ratio and epigenetic variation caused by high cytokinin of three varieties of Spathiphyllum were tested in the MS media containing BA (0.0, 2.0, 4.0, 8.0 mg/l) and NAA (0.0, 2.0, 4.0 mg/l) combinations. The results were analysed statisticaly. The highest proliferation ratios in the media containing 1.0 mg/l BA for two varieties were 14.3 shoot/explant for S. dario and 13.5 shoot/ eksplant for S. chicco. The media containing 1.0 mg/l Kin showed that 7.5 shoot/explant and 4.5 shoot/explant for two varieties, respectively. The best proliferation ratios in MS media containing BA (0.0, 0.5, 1.0, 2.0 mg/l) and NAA (0.0, 0.5, 1.0 mg/l) combinations were obtained from 1 mg/l BA alone as 15.3, 17.8 ve 18 shoots/explant for three Spathiphyllum varieties (Spathiphyllum `Sweet Dario?, Spathiphyllum. `Sweet Chico?, Spathiphyllum `Sweet Cupido?,) respectively. In the third study, the plantlets grown in the MS media containing 8.0 mg/l BA showed leaf deformity and somaclonal variation. This variation was determined by morphologic and RAPD analysis.
