Abstract (EN)
Study field, Bartın and its district throughout Blacksea coast that between Zonguldak and Kastamonu in the Western Blacksea Region. In this study, topograpy, climate, soil, vegetation, population and land use characteristics and its changes as time passed were determined of Bartın. The aim of thesis bring this difference and changes effect on quantity and quality agriculture crops out and determination of agriculture potential. Bartın contains from 88,4 per cent area of unsuitable land which has over 12 per cent slope and altitude mostly over 1000 meters. Also, climatic parameters in Bartın have a suitable condition for agriculture crops of moist region while warm and terrestrial climate to limited part of the agriculture crops. Bartın?s soils become an unproductive because of eluvation. All of the this unchangeble physical characteristics determined that a main factors of limited and obstruct the Bartın agriculture. After 1990 expect the centre population, all rural and urban population rapidly diminished. As a result for this, total population of city reduced 11 percent between 1990 and 2000, quantity and quality of working in agriculture was affected negatively. In the section of agriculture crops, grow conditions of crops were mentioned and also changes of agriculture crops according to years in Bartın district showed with table and explained.
