Abstract (EN)

Previous research has shown that traits associated with successful business managers are generally more attributed to men than women. This study aims to examine the current state of perceived gender typing of traits associated with successful business managers. Although gender stereotypes are a popular research topic in social psychology, there is still controversy in intercultural studies on this topic. From this point of view, it is to be able to see the dimensions of gender differences in the intercultural context in terms of managerial characteristics by determining the factors related to successful management characteristics in the current thesis. In this context, the sample of the study consists of 4th grade Turkish, Djibouti and Somali students from the Department of Business Administration at Uludağ University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, similarly, it consists of graduate students studying in Business Administration science programs. Based on the studies examined in the literature in the light of the information obtained from the current study, to determine whether the perception of successful management traits differs on the basis of gender.
