Abstract (EN)

Presidential system is a political system that is being implemented in many countries around the world. The first and best example is seen in the US presidential system, in rigid control of forces based on the separation of legislative and judicial branches of government is a system that expands the possibilities of execution. Come out of the legislative and the executive powers of tough presidential system to a parliamentary system is not based on the separation of the executive branch gives broader powers. In parliamentary systems, the head of state and government, which is shared between the executive powers are meeting in the President in a presidential system. Located in the presidential system but common practice to limit the power given to the President of the United States provides a variety of balance and control mechanisms. Thus, to take an undemocratic state of the system is prevented. But the presidential system, as applied in many other countries because of the wide Powers given to execution has led to the formation of an authoritarian regime. Because these countries have areas of balance and control mechanisms in the system in the US system is easily authoritarianism. The first of the objections against the changes to the system forward in the debate in our country " authoritarianism " as is appears. The most obvious one other objection " federalism " is emerging. Our work has focused on the causes and the validity of the appeal. The applicability of the presidential system in our country, in this context, the Turkish political system on the basis of an examination performed by a variety of actors have tried to make judgments about the publics view of the presidential system.
