Financial analyse of Baskent University Hospital's Emergency Service for the year of 2013

Emergency departments and emergency services are a vital component for human life. All around the world, emergency services usually perceiving as a part of right of health and human rights too. Despite this fact, as a result of competition policies, there are many arguments come to the fare for health services in general and emergency services in exclusive. These arguments focuses to profitability of these service. The aim of this study making the financial analyse of Baskent University Hospital's emergency service for the year of 2013. Before the financial analyse, the concept of right of health and health services, mean of this right for different welfare regimes and theorical background of emenrgency departments and services explanined for understanding the study's academical dimension. And also this concepts are argued for Turkey too. Fit for purpose to this study, a general financial analyse is made for the year of 2013 and an exclusive analyse is made for this year's all months. Incomes, expenditures, number of staff, number of patients and demographical specifies of patients are the key indicators for analyse. Also there is a comparision with other studies which have similar subject with our study. As a result of the research, there is an important financial instability situation is in question for Baskent University Hospital's emergency department. Because of this reason, there are some suggestions are put in an apperance on the conclusion. But there is an unmissable reality at this point. As stated above, health is an universal human right and emerengcy services are a part of this right. Financial analyses in this subject must never overlook this reality.
