Abstract (EN)

The subject of the research is the analysis and evaluation of the arabic textbooks which have been taught at Imam Hatip Schools, middle schools and high schools of the Republic of Turkey from the beginning to these days. In our study which consists of 4 parts. In the introduction part; the purpose, significance and limitations of the study are avaliable. In the first part; the history of Imam Hatip Schools and general review of teaching Arabic language in these schools. In the second part; the methods of teaching foreign language and problems in Arabic teaching. In the the third part; the analysing and evaluation of the Arabic language course boks which have been taught at Imam Hatip Schools. In the fourth part; conclision and suggestions for researchers are avaliable. In this study general screening model was used. Similar Arabic theses previously prepared in this topic, copyrighted boks written about Arabic and foreign language teaching, various articles for İmam Hatip Schools and Arabic teaching, teaching programs prepared for teaching Arabic in Imam Hatip schools and the course boks taught at Imam Hatip Schools were scanned. After the obtained data has been collected, it was interpreted within the framework of critical perspective and scientific information. As a result, suggestions for more efficient and productive preparation of textbooks taught at Imam Hatip High Schools were presented. Keywords: Imam Hatip, Arabic books, analyze, evaluate
