Abstract (EN)
The main purpose of this study is to determine the level of TurkishPress showing socio- politics realities on their headlines. Fort this, Hurriyet,Radikal and Zaman, the newspapers that are known as the best in the areaof political issues, have been investigated. In this study, the functions of thepress, its relationship with politics, democracy and ideology, the concept ofthe news, the process of how the news is created, headline news, news andsocio-politics realities, and ideological configure have been studied to makethe reailities better understandable.The headlines of the newspapers during the period investigated werecompared by using qualitative content analysis method. By this way, the levelof the newspapers showing the socio-politic realities was analysed.Consequently, it was found that Turkish Press show the realities bytheir perspective. That is, they edit the realities and rebuild them.
