Synthesis and biological activities of some 3(2H)-Piridazinon and 1(2H)-Phthalazinon derivatives

Abstract (EN)
In this study, twelve new componds carrying N?-(4-substitutedphenyl-1,3-thiazole-2-yl)acetohydrazide structure at position 2 of 3(2H)-pyridazinone and 1(2H)-phthalazinone rings were synthesized and their structures were confirmed by 1H-NMR, IR, Mass and elemental analysis. After that, their antimicrobial activities were evaluated various Gram-positive and Gram-negative strains of bacteria, fungi and M.Tuberculosis H37Rv.As obtained results, we might say that the compounds were generally more active against M. Tuberculosis, its isolate and fungi than Gram bacteria.Moreover, compound 7 and compond 8, which are 1(2H)-phthalazinone derivatives, were the most active compounds against M. Tuberculosis isolate.Key Words: 3(2H)-pyridazinone, 1(2H)-phthalazinone, thiazole, antimicrobial activity.
