In this study, atomic structure calculations such as energy levels, electric dipole, electric quadrupole and magnetic dipole transition parameters for neutral actinium, protactinium and some ions and three times ionized thorium, four and five times ionized uranium and neutral lawrencium have been made. These calculations have been performed using the multiconfiguration Hartree-Fock (MCHF) method including the Breit-Pauli relativistic effects and the multiconfiguration Dirac-Fock (MCDF) method including the transverse photon (Breit) and quantum electrodynamic (QED) contributions.In the first chapter previous works on Ac, Pa and some ions of these, and Th IV, U V, U VI and Lr I have been given. The second chapter deals with the multiconfiguration Hartree-Fock and multiconfiguration Dirac-Fock methods. Wavefunctions and some relativistic corrections have been evaluated using the MCHF atomic structure and GRASP package. In the third chapter results obtained have been compared with other experimental and theoretical works.
