Abstract (EN)

A total of 12 faba bean genotypes were used in this study. 8 of these are low tannin-containing genotypes developed by ICARDA (FBIN-LT-2013) and 2 of them are registered varieties (Icawhite, Elisar) and 2 of them are local faba bean genotypes (Atlıdere and Antalya local variety). In the experiment, the number of plants in the plot (19-63), number of days to first flowering (68-82 days), number of days to 50% flowering (74-107 days), days to maturity (140-153 days), plant height (44,50-105,50 cm), height of first pod (10,50-50,50 cm), number of branches (1-6,25), number of pods per plants (3,50-15,25), seedling stage (42,25-53,13), 50% flowering (36,79-49,27) and pod setting period (38,32-50,23), including the amount of chlorophyll (SPAD), biological yield (kg/da) (31,30-388,80 kg), seed yield (kg/da) (26,10-164,90 kg), 100seed weight (g) (62,25-97 g), pod length (77,50-118,75 mm), pod width (10-18,75 mm), seed numbers per pod (2,5-4,25) and harvest index values (25,81%-62,13%) are identified. Statistically significant differences were determined for number of first flowering days, first pod height, number of branches, 100-seed weight and, pod length. It is assumed that FLIP08-019FB, Atlıdere and FLIP08-015FB genotypes can be used in future breeding programs with high seed yield and earliness. Also, the low tannin FLIP 08-015FB genotype was the genotype with higher yields than other genotypes and controls. This genotype has been identified as a candidate of new variety. According to results of biochemical analysis to see content of protein, total and free amino acid, content of protein varied between 22,58% (FLIP03-005FB) and 31,50% (Elisar). FLIP08-016FB genotype is the highest value for aspartic acid, sistin, isoleusine+leucine, lisin, phenylalanine, serine and valine. Selected genotypes could be used in plant breeding programs in the future.
