Investigation of effects of some patogenic bacteria in the trout hatchery systems

Abstract (EN)

Effects of pathogenic bacteria on trout species have been generally reported in the larval and after stages. Effects of bacteria on survival rate of eggs and artificial feeding stage of larvae were not investigated yet. Effects of some pathogenic fish bacteria such as Aeromonas hydrophila, Lactococcus garvieae, Pseudomonas putida and Yersinia ruckeri were investigated on eggs, alevines and fry of Oncorhynchus mykiss and Salmo coruhensis in the present study. For this purpose, eyed eggs were exposed with the bacteria. Highest mortality rate for A. hydrophila in the treatment times were observed 17.66% and 20.3% for rainbow trout and brown trout respectively. And also, the rate of control groups was recorded as 1% and 2.6% respectively. The cumulative mortality rates of the other bacterial groups were observed higher than the control groups. Blue sac fry syndrome, spine deformities, darkening on the skin color and hemorrhages were observed for bacteria exposed fish. The pathogenic effects of bacterial contamination in the trout hatchery systems were presented in the present study.
