Abstract (EN)

As 5-membered heterocyclic compounds have various applications, their synthesis has become increasingly important in recent years. Today, many compounds used as therapeutic agent contain 5-membered heterocyclic ring such as triazole, thiadiazole and oxidiazole. In the present study, in vitro and in vivo anti-oxidant and anti-tumor effects of 5 novel amino methyl compounds which contain bis-1, 2, 4-triazole were examined. Reducing power, metal chelating activity, hydrogen peroxide scavenging activity and superoxide radical scavenging activity, deoxyribose degradation and hydroxyl radical grasping activity and MDA results in Saccharomyces cerevisiae cells were assessed in vitro. Effects of compounds on tissue and serum vitamin A, E, C levels and MDA values in test animals were assessed in vivo. In Addition, anti-tumor effects of compound were investigated in MCF-7 human breast cancer cell line. As a result, most of the compounds showed efficient antioxidant and antitumour activity when compared to ascorbic acid, BHT and α-tocopherol as standard antioxidants. In addition, cell viability experiments show that compounds have effective in vitro antitumor activity. Correlation between control group and compounds were analyzed by SPSS software. Findings and conclusion were discussed with relevant recommendations.
