Investigation of the effectiveness of some plant extractions against important plant parasitic nematodes

Abstract (EN)

In this study, affects %1, %2,5, %5 and %10 concentrations of aqueous plant extracts of Hayty, Fig, Oleander, Eucalyptus, Rosary, Rocket, Peppermint, Walnut, Dill, Lime, Ginger and Laurel plants against stem and bulb nematode Ditylenchus dipsaci, root-knot nematode Meloidogyne incognita, root lesion nematodes; Pratylenchus thornei and Pratylenchus penetrans were examined. While %1 concentration of Fig, Chinaberry tree, Rocket, Walnut and Cement extracts caused mortality of %95-100 rates on P. penetrans, P. thornei ve D. dipsaci at the end of 24 hours, %2,5 concentration of Oleander, Peppermint and Dill also sustained the same results. In the study, it can be concluded that %10 concentration of all of plant extracts used in the test affected P. penetrans, P. thornei, D. dipsaci ve M. incognita at %87-100 rates at the end of 24 hours. When plant extracts were compared in terms of efficacy, it was found that higher concentrations only provided higher efficacy against M. incognita.
