Abstract (EN)

The study was carried out in 2016 and 2017 growing period in order to determine yield and quality parameters of some paddy varieties under Erbaa, Niksar and Pazar conditions. 15 paddy (Oryza sativa L.) cultivars were used in the research conducted at different locations. The experiments were established with four replications according to randomized block design. Panicle heading time, maturation time, plant height, cluster length, the number of grains per panicle, the number of clusters per square meter, sterility, broken rice yield, unbroken rice yield, harvest index, single cluster yield, cargo protein ratio, chalky grain ratio, laying and paddy grain yield were investigated. Significant differences were found in the parameters examined. In addition, stable varieties were determined in paddy grain yield according to stability parameters. It was found that paddy grain yields of Osmancık-97, Hamzadere, Şumnu, Efe and Vasco varieties showed high values in terms of important yield parameters such as the number of clusters per square meter and the number of grains in clusters. In addition, Osmancık-97, Şumnu, Efe, Cammeo varieties showed stable properties in all environments in terms of paddy grain yield. It was also found that Cammeo and Nembo varieties had high values in terms of important quality parameters such as cargo protein ratio, broken and unbroken rice yield, thousand grain weights. According to the results obtained; It has been determined that Çakmak, Cammeo and Şumnu varieties come to the forefront in all locations in terms of paddy grain yield and quality parameters and that they can be used successfully in production.
