Özet (EN)

From the past to the present day, human beings have left their geography under the influence of various agents and traveled to new and undiscovered regions. This state of travel has continued increasingly until today. Travel books are formed by travelers by writing places where they visited and saw. In time, travel books have become historical treasures. Especially the writings of the Chinese travelers among these works, which are the first-hand source for the history of nations, are of great importance for both the region and Turkish history. In virtue of the importance of Chinese resources for Turkish history, the travel books included in these resources contain important information about Turkish social, political, economic, cultural and religious life. Therefore, in period from B.C. 139 to 984, travelers named Chang Chien, Fa Hsien, Sung Yün, Wu Gong, Hsüan Tsang and Wang Yen-te decode the secrets important in terms of Turkish History. As a result of the analysis and examination of these travel books, it is essential to reach important historical data.
