Examination of alfa power transformed for some distributions

In statistics, distributions have an important place as they provide information about the characteristic features of the data. However, in most cases, known statistical distributions are insufficient in application to real data. New statistical distributions have been derived to eliminate this inadequacy. One of these new distribution methods is the alpha power transformation method. There is literature on this. Many studies have been done and many new distribution models have been derived. In this thesis, some of the most important alpha power transformed distributions are included. The mathematical and statistical properties of these distribution models are discussed. The order statistics of these distributions are introduced and parameter estimates are included. It is a well-known problem in statistics that distributions need to be more flexible for data modeling purposes. This requirement has increased the work on obtaining new probability distribution families by expanding the known distribution families. In this seminar, first of all, some of the distributions that are widely used in statistics will be given and then the alpha power (power) transformation, which has been applied in the field of statistics in recent years (since 2017), will be introduced. Probability functions for distributions with alpha power transform applied will be examined and statistical results will be made by using these probability functions.
