Abstract (EN)

Ferns; They are flowerless plants known for their segmented leaves similar to bird feathers, and are used in areas such as ornamental plants, household items, food sources, herbal medicine and handicrafts in different societies. Within the scope of this thesis; It was aimed to evaluate the micropropagation possibilities of Asplenium scolopendrium, Polystichum aculeatum, Asplenium trichomanes, Polypodium vulgare, Adiantum capillus-veneris and Nephrolepis cordifolia fern species under in vitro conditions. For these purposes, first sterilization experiments were carried out in different species. The best results were obtained with species obtained from species collected from natural habitats using 0.001 g/L mercury (HgCl2), 10% sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl) and 70% ethyl alcohol. The best results for species kept under controlled greenhouse conditions were obtained from the sterilization trial using 30% NaOCl and 70% ethyl alcohol. Within the scope of the study, experiments were conducted on six different species to determine germination rates, and the highest germination rate was observed in the Polypodium vulgare species. In the main trial, different combinations and concentrations were used for differentiation. In the trials, (KIN, BA, NAA) combinations (KIN + NAA, BA + NAA) were used. KIN and BA (0, 0.5, 1 mg/L) and NAA (0, 0.5 mg/L) were combined with different combinations and concentrations, ½ MS (Murashige and Skoog) nutrient medium was used and the plants were grown at 22-25 ºC temperature and 16 °C. grown under hourly photoperiodic conditions. As a result, it was determined that the combination of 0.5 mg/L KIN + 0.5 mg/L NAA had a positive effect on gametophyte weight, protal number and cell increase.
