Abstract (EN)
Molecular characterization of gene sources is very important in bread wheat breeding. Especially, knowing this information will increase the success of the improvement studies. In this study, 54 hexaploid Turkish and foreign wheat varieties were molecularly characterized using 63 functional DNA markers. In this study, 63 functional DNA markers associated with gene regions controlling adaptation, quality, resistance to biotic and abiotic factors were used, and allelic states and frequency values of alleles among the varieties were determined. In terms of gene regions examined, it was determined that there were significant genetic differences between varieties. Based on the research findings, it was concluded that the wheat varieties examined can be used for different purposes in wheat breeding programs.
