Abstract (EN)

The aim of the study was to determine the adaptations of 10 bread wheat varieties to Van- Özalp ecological conditions. In the study, characteristics such as heading time, grain filling time, ripening time, stem length, spike length, number of grains per spike, grain yield per spike, thousand grain weight, total yield, hectolitre weight and grain yield were examined. According to the findings obtained as a result of the research, days to heading of the varieties is 91.25-103.3 days, grain filling duration is 36-48 days, ripening duration is 137.3-140 days, stem length is 65.50-100.7 cm, spike length is 8.65-11.40 cm, number of grains per spike is 20.02- 37.15 grain, grain yield per spike varied between 2.257-2.710 g, thousand grain weight 34.10-47.30 g, total yield 1073-1790 kg da-1, hectolitre weight 71.35-79 kg hl-1 and grain yield 94.65-247.6 kg da-1. The highest grain yield were obtained from the Karakılçık cultivar with 247.6 kg da-1 and from the Bayraktar cultivar with 236.1 kg da-1. The lowest grain yield was determined in Müfitbey variety with 94.65 kg da-1
