Özet (EN)
This study was conducted at Çukurova University between June and August 2022. Within the scope of the Prima project (FREECLIMB TÜBİTAK-119N495), the salt stress tolerance status of 9 male fig genotypes sent from Aydın-Erbeyli Fig Research Institute was determined. Morphological (stem diameter, plant height and leaf number) and photosynthetic measurement values made at certain stages of the experiment on stress and control plants were compared. In the morphological measurement results, the Mıstık genotype and the Hamza variety showed the best performance. The Kızılay 1 genotype had the lowest values. It was determined that all varieties and genotypes exposed to salt stress in the experiment had a decrease in leaf water potential. Decreases were also detected in photosynthetic parameters. SPAD (Chlorophyll value) measurement values increased in all except Şaytan 1 and Kızılay 1 genotypes. As a result of the nutrient element analysis, especially in terms of K/Na and Ca/Na balance, which are important for salt resistance, Mıstık genotype had the highest value, while Kızılay 1 genotype had the lowest value. According to the measurement and analysis results, Mıstık genotype and Hamza variety came to the fore as the most resistant to salt stress. Kızılay 1 was determined to be the most sensitive genotype to salt stress. It was determined that other varieties and genotypes showed moderate tolerance. Keywords: Male fig, salinity, stress, leaf water potential, genotype
