Özet (EN)
This study is composed of five parts. In the first chapter, detailed information about the wave concept is given. In the second chapter, general definitions related to nonlinear differential equations are given. In the third chapter, we give information about the method used - Expansion Method. It has been shown how to obtain the general solution of this method. In the fourth chapter, information is given about NLS equations. In particular, the nonlinear Schrödinger equation is discussed. General solution of this equation by using - Expansion Method was obtained. Finite difference method is described and the norm is found. Numerical examples are given. In the fifth chapter, the results of the thesis were written.
