Analytical and semi analytical methods used in the solitions of some nonlinear partial differential equations

This study is constructed in six chapters.The first chapter has been devoted to the introduction and in this chapter fundamental informations of the waves and equations which are used to this study are given. In the second chapter; fundamental definitions which are used to study are given. In the third chapter; it is made analyze of analytical and semi analytical methods which are used to solve of some nonlinear partial differential equations. The fourth and fifth chapters contain original part of this study. In the fourth chapter; it is obtained travelling wave solutions and series solutions for equations which are considered in the first chapter by using the generalized tanh method, the extended tanh method, the generalizing Riccati equation mapping method and homotopy analysis method which are given in chapter three. In the fifth chapter; it is discussed numerical results of series solutions and travelling wave solutions for Kaup--Kupershmidt equation, Drinfeld-Sokolov-Wilson equations, Hirota-Satsuma equations which are obtained in chapter four. The sixth chapter has been devoted to the conclusion. In this chapter, it is made a generalized assessment by supporting results which are obtained in this study with some studies in literature.
