Abstract (EN)
Brake systems are very important for automobile and other vehicles. These systemsprovide to stay in control of the automobile. Brake linings are the most important parts inthe brake systems. Optimum conditions are required to provide expected frictionperformance and wear resistance of brake lining materials. From a brake lining, it isproposed that it has maximum friction and minimum abrasion for expected a brake liningand it is not harmful for the human health and environment. Performance of brakinglining in the during braking has been changeable due to friction or braking lining hasbeen undergone to mechanical deformation due to excessive temperature. In this study; brake livings samples were prepared with addition diatomite, perlite and flyash. Keywords: Brake Lining, Diatomite, Perlite, Fly Ask, Friction, Wear.
