Abstract (EN)
Caipira (Lactuca sativa var. crispa) curly leaf lettuce variety was used in the work carried out in the climatic room of the plant physiology laboratory of Van Yüzüncü Yıl University, Faculty of Agriculture, Department of Horticulture. 3 different organic materials (vermicompost, gidya, leonardit) and their different doses (3 %, 6 %, 9 %) and control group (0 %) using garden soil were investigated to effects on some morphological and physiological characteristics of watermelon. The effects of morphological and physiological characteristics 3 different organic materials (vermicompost, gidya, leonardite) and their different doses (3 %, 6 %, 9 %) and control group (0 %) using garden soil of Caipira curly leaf lettuce variety were investigated. Lettuce seedlings were grown in pots each having a volume of 3 kilograms. Applications 5 replications, 1 plant in each pot and a total of 50 lettuce seeds were used. At the end of the work was measured to plant weight (g), plant height (cm), plant age root weight (g), plant stem diameter (mm), number of leaves on plants (number), leaf thickness (mm). After the weights of the harvested plants were taken, total marketable yield value was calculated by kg/decare converting 3000 plants to per decare. According to research findings, the effects of applied organic compounds on yield components observed in curly leaf salads were found to be significant. Vermicompost application increased about 2 times to yield, but there was no statistical difference between doses. It has also been determined that the effect of early composting curly leaf salting is at a significant level, and that especially the K, Zn and Cu elements give good results in the plant environment. In general, it has been determined that the application of the gidya to the plant nutrient content does not give positive results.
