Özet (EN)

Removal of Reactive Orange 16 dye from aqueous solutions were performed adsorption techniques using by Amberlyst A21 and modified waste filtre coffee with hexadecyl trimethyl ammonium bromide. In this thesis study, effects of pH and contact time on removal of Reactive Orange 16 were investigated. The obtained data shown that Reactive Orange 16 were removed effectively by Amberlyst A21 and modified waste filtre coffee with hexadecyl trimethyl ammonium bromide and the maximum removal percentage were 90.58 %; at initial Reactive Orange 16 concentration of 100 ppm and optimum contiditions of pH 2 and contact time of 180 minute. The obtained data from initial dye concentration studies were calculated according to Langmuir, Freundlich and Temkin isotherm models. The kinetic investigations were carried out using by pseudo first order and pseudo second order kinetic models. As a result of thesis study; adsorption on Amberlyst A21 and modified waste filtre coffee with hexadecyl trimethyl ammonium bromide surface obey to Langmuir isotherm model.
