Performances of soybean (Glycine max Merr.) genotype in Tokat ecological conditions

Abstract (EN)

This study was conducted to determine the performance of some soybean genotypes in Tokat-Kazova conditions in 2017. At the same time, it is aimed to determine the possibility of soybean production in the region and to create data that may contribute to the reduction of oilseed gap in the future. In the study, 7 advanced lines (TRE-S07-03-531210T, TRE-S07-03-542120T, TRE-SO7-05-111110T, TRE-S07-07-622110T, TRE-S07-08-421210T, TRE-S07-08 -633210T and TRE-S08-03-111110T) and 10 varieties (Traksoy, Yeşilsoy, Nazlıcan, Adasoy, Cinsoy, Çetinbey, Atakişi, Arısoy, Umut-2002 and Mersoy) total 17 soybean genotypes were used. Experiments were conducted in randomized blocks experimental design with three replications. Phenological (emergence time, first flowering and physiological ripening days) and morphological characteristics (plant height, number of side branches per plant, height of first pods, number of pods per plant, number of pods per plant, thousand seed weight, seed yield, oil ratio, fat yield, protein ratio and protein yield) were investigated. All of the investigated characteristics were statistically significant (p <0.01 and p <0.05) for genotypes. As a result of the research; thousand seed weight 124.08-174.04 g, seed yield 95.39-306.29 kg/da, oil content 18.29-24.18%, oil yield 17.45-68.69 kg/da, protein content 28.55-42.84% and protein yield 39.09-107.85 kg/da varies between it has been identified. As a result, it is thought that Mersoy cultivar can be cultivated in Tokat-Kazova conditions in terms of seed, oil and protein yield.
