Abstract (EN)

This research was carried out to investigate the effect of some cereals on silage quality by mixing them with feed peas (Pisum sativum L.) in different proportions. Aslım-95 (rye), Yeniçeri (oat) and Ozkaynak (feed pea) varieties were used as plant material in the experiment. The research was carried out in Siirt University Faculty of Agriculture Field Crops experimental area in winter in 2019-2020. In the study, pure 100% oat, 100% rye and 100% feed peas, in mixture ratios 75% oats + 25% feed peas, 50% oats + 50% feed peas, 25% oats + 75% feed peas, 75% rye + 25% feed peas. Silage was obtained from the mixture ratios of 50% rye + 50% feed pea and 25% rye + 75% feed pea. According to the results of the research; average pH value of silages 4.82, dry matter ratio 29.48%, crude protein ratio 10.59%, acid detergent fiber (ADF) 39.05%, neutral detergent fiber (NDF) 57.24%, digestible dry matter ratio (DDM) 58.47%, dry matter intake (DMI) 2.13% and relative feed value (RFV) it was determined as 97.69.
