Abstract (EN)

This study was carried out in 2019 in Bursa Uludağ University Faculty of Agriculture, Field Crops Department, tissue culture laboratory in order to investigate the embryo formation performance of immature embryos developed as a result of in species crossing program with wild sunflower genotypes (Helianthus spp.) and CMS lines in Bursa conditions. were carried out under greenhouse and field conditions. The plant material used in the study was obtained from 4 wild sunflower genotypes from USDA-USA and 4 CMS lines from Trakya Agricultural Research Institute. Embryos obtained from inter and intraspecies hybridization were cultured 10-12 days later. It has been observed that there are significant differences in morphological observations (plant height, head diameter, number of leaves, leaf width, leaf length, petiole length, stem thickness) in hybrid plants. In order to obtain F1 in field conditions, 4 CMS lines and 4 wild sunflower genotypes were used and crosses were made in 16 different combinations in total. As a result of inter and intraspecific hybridization, no seeds could be obtained from 2517-A x USDA9, 2517-A x H. argophylus (35), 6388-A x H. argophylus (35), 9661-A x H. annuus (17), 9661-A x H. annuus (9) combinations.
