Examination of the integration approaches of information and communication technologies of physical education teachers and different branch teachers

Introduction and Aim: Today, the social, economic, technological and educational conditions that shape modern education systems have changed. Therefore, teachers need to keep up with these changing conditions. The aim of this research is; To determine the integration approaches of physical education and different branchteachers' information and communication technologies (ICT). Material and Method: Scanning model was used in the study. The research group consisted of teachers working in public high schools affiliated to the Ministry of National Education in Istanbul in the spring semester of 2020-2021 education and selected by simple random sampling method. In this context, the research included 205 physical education and sports teachers (PEST); The study was conducted with 619 teachers, 414 of whom were from different branches. In the research, "Personal Information Form" and "Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) Integration Approaches Scale" were used as data collection tools. In the analysis of the obtained data, descriptive statistics (frequency, percentage and mean), t-test, One-way ANOVA and Pearson product-moment correlation coefficient were used. Results: As a result of the study, according to PEST's, ICT integration levels, in-service training; On the other hand, it was determined that the other branch teachers differed significantly according to their graduation from a teacher's high school, receiving in-service training, finding their income levels sufficient, choosing the profession willingly, and marital status. Conclusion: Information and communication technologies integration; it did not differ significantly according to gender, age, years of service, number of children; It has been determined that there are significant differences according to marital status, choosing the profession willingly, finding the income status sufficient, receiving in-service training, graduating from a teacher's high school and branch variables.
