Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study was to identify the opinions of physical education teachers? (working in Düzce) autocratic, democratic and laissez-faire classroom management style. 72 physical education teachers who works in primary and high schools fall of 2006-2007 participated this study. Teachers selected vary scanning model. The data were collected through ?The Classroom Management Styles of Teachers? Questionnaire? which was prepared by Terzi (2001) and consisted of two parts with sum of 40 items. In analyzing the data non-parametric tests; Mann Whitney-U and Kruskal Wallis Tests were used .05 significance level was used in the statistical analyzis. The results of this study revealed that the teachers agree that they are at some extend autocratic and laissez-faire. Opinions of physical education teachers on classroom management styles don?t vary in terms of sex, age, school graduated, staff position and vocational position. Even though there wasn?t significant difference in terms of vocational experience on autocratic and democratic management style; there was significant difference in terms of vocational experience on laissez-faire management style.
