Abstract (EN)

Nowadays, competition is experienced not only between companies, but also within the supply network structure of companies. In addition, all these competitive conditions take place under increasingly uncertain environmental conditions. The rapid development of technology, increasing competition, changing customer expectations and needs, price differences cause companies to take decisions in an uncertain environment and as a result, they are faced with various risks. At this point, companies develop and implement various strategies (flexibility, supply chain visibility, supply chain risk practices) together with their supply network structure in order to handle the devastating consequences of uncertainty and risks and to reduce their effects. This thesis in this context; examines the relationship between the concepts of flexibility, environmental uncertainty, supply chain visibility, risk and supply chain risk practices, and aims to explore their effects on business performance. In the study, a survey method is embraced as a data collection source (200 companies) and the research hypotheses are tested with "correlation" and "regression" analyses. As a result of analyses, it is found that there are significant relationships between environmental uncertainty and risk and between supply chain visibility and supply chain risk practices. In addition to that it is seen that there is a negative relationship between supply risk and business performance, and a positive relationship between supply chain risk practices and business performance
