Abstract (EN)
In this study, it is aimed to try to understand how refugee entrepreneurs from different countries, who are active in economic activities in Turkey, and who are engaged in economic activities in Istanbul's Esenyurt and Zeytinburnu districts, approach and understand the reasons for these approaches. Convenience and snowball sampling methods were used in the study. In this context, semi-structured interviews were conducted with 10 refugee entrepreneurs of different ethnic origins except for Syria, operating in Istanbul Zeytinburnu and Esenyurt districts. Since it will be important to use validity and reliability tactics in order to increase the quality of the research, a rich literature review was used to ensure the content validity of the study. In addition, the "triangulation" method was used. When the findings of the study are examined; The participants were asked a question about how they approached the working of different cultures together, and it was seen that the participants mostly gave a positive answer to this question. On the other hand, when the same question is asked about Syrian entrepreneurs, it is seen that the participants exhibit a more indecisive attitude and the monolithic attitude seen in the previous question becomes more fragmented. The study differs from previous studies due to its effort to understand the perspectives of different refugee groups on another group. In the study, it has been tried to understand the general and economic perspectives of refugee entrepreneurs regarding another specific refugee group. In future studies, some research questions can be produced at this point by finding representatives of different refugee groups working together.
