Abstract (EN)

In automobil world, since changing standarts are arranged according to people's wills and environmental conditions, progress in transportation with high way is consistently provided as the problems faced are solved. One of the main purposes of automobil world is to adept fuel economy and exhaust emission to recent standarts and in addition to future standarts. Emission system both determine perfect amount of air fuel which is taken inside and designate the least exhaust emission for motion by providing to turn into this mixture to maximum efficiency. In intake systems of recently used automobiles, there are mechanisms which have poppet shapet valves. Reducing the cost of rearing, heat exposed elements the design of manifold, port, valve mechanism and cylinder covers, the flow's being provided with the help of electronic control units for maximum efficiency. In this study, endurance of valve equipments and strenght which come to mechanism elements was researched. Considering also the nimber of valves, the factors for dimensionizing the valves were determined. Until maximum rising height is reached, valve speed occurred in each crankshaft degree inspection of valve acceleration and effective flowing area characteristics were performed and results were illustrated with by graphics.Key Words : Intake valve, Gasolin Engine, Valve Characteristics
