Quran parables in the contemporary period in the context of Besâiru'l-Qur'an interpretation

This thesis addresses the approach to clear parables in the work titled Besâiru'l-Kur'ân, which was created as a result of transcribing the conversations of Ali Küçük (ö. 2017), who lived between 1953-2017, conducted in his sermon style under audio and video recording. Following the introduction, our thesis consists of two main sections and a conclusion. The introduction section provides theoretical information about the research. The first section is divided into two parts, with the first part providing information about Ali Küçük's life and works. The second part of this section discusses the term "parable" and examines the topic of emsâlü'l-Kur'ân from both etymological and interpretative terminology perspectives. In the second section of the thesis, parables related to beliefs, practices, ethics, and worldly life are classified, and clear parable verses related to these topics are discussed. While examining Küçük's approach to parables in his interpretation, comparisons are made with the works of interpreters such as Abduh (ö. 1905), Elmalılı (ö. 1942), Seyyid Kutub (ö. 1966), and Derveze (ö. 1984), who lived in the same century, and different and contemporary views presented in Besâiru'l-Kur'ân are highlighted.
