Abstract (EN)
Basus War is not merely a conflict that occurred between the Taghlib and Bakr tribes; it is also an event of great significance that left deep marks on the Arab memory. This study aims to systematically compile and analyse the reflections of Basus War on Arabic literature. These analyses on the literary aspects of the war will contribute to understanding not only the position of the war in the field of literature, but also the social structure and cultural values of the Jahiliyyah period. In this context, literature review and data analysis methods were used in the study as a qualitative research. Finally, the study reveals that Basus War has been regarded as an important reference point in Arabic literature from the past to the present, highlighting its contributions to the literary field. Thus, it seeks to provide a better understanding of the place of this historical event in Arab mind and literature.
