Abstract (EN)
Sympathetic nervous system can lead rapid heart rate. To decrease load of heart, beta blocker medicines blocks sympathetic nervous system. Beta blockers block beta receptor area of the heart, therefore beta blockers get their names from this area. When the body is under stress, it excretes some hormones which activate beta receptors. When beta receptors are activated by stres hormones, they affect a reaction that increases the heart rate and power of heart rate. Beta blockers connect to beta receptors to prevent effects of stress hormones. In this way, beta blockers decrease the heart rate and contraction of heart muscles. As a result of this, cardiac stress is decreased. Furthermore, spasm of heart, brain and body veins are cut down by heart blockers. The purpose of this work is to investigate the compatibility of carvedilol for using in production process. Infared spectrum of factor substance was taken, impurity test was done, lead, iron, arsenic, chlorides, sulfated ash content was controlled, humidity percentage and amount was determined. As a result of all analysis, it was seen that carvedilol is suitable for production.Key Words : Beta blocker, beta receptor, carvedilol, specification
