From the point of design safety, it is very important to determine the behavior of buildings under seismic loads and accordingly detection of the internal forces caused by them. For this reason, some analysis methods which determine the seismic performance of buildings were developed and have taken their places in the Turkish Earthquake Code since 2007 in its final state. In this study, performance analysis of a sample building was carried out and the results were evaluated according to Turkish Earthquake Code (2007) by using Probina Orion, software that determines reinforced concrete buildings earthquake performance level. The building which showed low performance was supported by additional shear wall and the results were interpreted. Linear elastic computational methods which were explained in the Turkish Earthquake Code (2007) were used for the performance analysis and controls. Control and comparison processes were performed with the help of SAP2000 software.
