Abstract (EN)
The potantiokinetic experiments were carried out to investigate the corrosive effects of chloride and sulphate ions, diffusing into the specimen from contact environment, on reinforcing steel in conditions open to the atmosphere and to search the effect of LAS (linear alkylbenzene sulfonate) and LAB (linear alkylbenzene) on this corrosion. By embedding the electrodes into the concrete specimens having water/cement ratio of 0,45,the polarization resistance and the current-potential curves were obtained. Compressive strength of the specimens were also measured. Diffragtograms of specimens were obtained using XRD and structures were tried to be determined. According to the results, LAS and LAB act as a week inhibitor to corrosion of reinforcing steel and add a positive effect on compressive strength of concrete.Key Words :Concrete,Corrosion,Reinforcing steel,Corrosion Potential,Diffusion
