Özet (EN)

This study was conducted to determine the effects of grafting on different rootstocks which have gained importance especially on recent years. For this aim, seedlings obtained by grafting Demre and 11B-14 cultivars onto six different rootstocks (Güçlü Fı, Scarface Fı, PG-5238 Fı, Antinema Fı, Protector Fı and 52-03 RZ Fı) self-grafted and self-rooted were grown under open field conditions in Malatya during 2015 and 2016 years. In the study, the parameters of survival rates of grafted and control plants, plant height, main stem diameter, number of nodes, number of branches, root length, biomass, fruit yield and quality, seed yield and quality were evaluated from seed to seed. Results showed that when compared to control plants grafted plants with Scarface Fı, Güçlü Fı and Antinema Fı rootstocks were resulted in higher biomass, fruit yield and quality and also higher seed yield, emergence and germination percentages. Plant growth and seed yield were rather lower in non-grafted plants and the self-rooted roots plants. As a result, besides with their different advantages Scarface Fı, Güçlü Fı, Antinema Fı and PG-5238 Fı rootstocks were found promising for pepper seed production.
