Abstract (EN)

In this study, cooperative learning method Student Teams - AchievementDivisions technique is used by making it computer supported and the change inacademic success is determined. It is assumed that success techniques of detailed structured team - game -tournament or student teams of students that know nothing about the subject and donot have research skills will be more beneficial. It is determined by consulting tospecialists that computer supported cooperative learning would be the most suitabletechnique for physics lessons.A total of 61 students were included to the study in 2004 - 2005 educationseason, attending Izmir Suleyman Demirel High School 10 A and 10 E classes. In thestudy, the pattern of preliminary test-final test with control group is used as semiexperimental and study data is accumulated with Alpha reliability constant 0.77known as Newton's Law of Motion Success Test. Variance analysis and t-test is usedin the analysis of data.Cooperative Learning Method, Student Teams - Achievement Divisionstechnique has been applied on small group and tested on Newton?s Laws MotionUnit and found out to be positively effective. While according to gender freevariable, a significant difference has been determined in favor of the physics successof male students in the conventional (traditional) education group, no significantdifference was present in the group subjected to Cooperative Learning Methodaccording to gender variable.
