Abstract (EN)

The construction sector is one of the most damaging sectors like mining sector. In order to prevent this damage, changes must be made and the studies in the world are examples of these developments. Similarly, Turkey, enacted in the year 2007, 5627 numbered Law on Energy Efficiency at the same time energy identity certificate is introduced by this law. The details of the energy identity certificate are explained in the Energy Performance in Buildings Regulation issued in 2008. The certificate contains important information such as energy performance of buildings and it is stated by the regulation that it becomes obligatory as of 01.01.2020. The importance of the energy identity certificate is obvious, and the study aimed to measure the level of awareness of individuals on this issue. In this study, a questionnaire was conducted face-to-face with individuals residing in Adana on awareness of similar issues such as green buildings, energy efficiency, and renewable energy, especially the energy identity certificate. The results of the survey were analyzed using Microsoft Excel and WEKA programs, and the reliability was measured with the help of the SPSS program. In the analysis, association rule mining, which is one of the data mining methods, was used. According to the results of the analysis, most of the individuals do not have enough information about the subjects included in the survey.
