Comparison of performance and cost analysis of the thermal insulation materials for buildings - adana sample

Globally, the energy need has been increasing day by day. Thermal insulation has helped the energy to be used in the most efficient way. Within the scope of this study, the thermal insulation calculations of a sample two storey house project in Adana have been done and the obtained performance results have been compared to each other. Additionally, the thermal insulation materials have been evaluated with regards to the initial investment cost and the pay off time. Consequently, the thermal insulation systems with the highest installation costs are respectively; stone wool, gas concrete, XPS and EPS.
