Abstract (EN)

Interacting with nature is an essential factor for human health and overall well-being; urbanism and new design approaches in the last years have led people to spend more than 90% of their time indoors and move away from the natural environment, which caused them a lot of stressful environments, physiological, physical, and psychological problems. Work plays a significant role in people's lives at this time. especially, offices are now considered the main reason behind letting individuals find themselves within enclosed workplaces, resulting in their being disconnected from nature throughout the week and for a long time. Biophilic design is rooted in the concept of sustainability and enhancing the beneficial impacts of nature within built environments and quality of life. It aims to decrease the issues caused by modern life that humans face within enclosed spaces, especially workplaces. The study objective is to consider the strategies that integrate human psychology with nature through biophilic design and how its principles can be applied in office spaces to meet human needs. The study utilized qualitative research methods document analysis and descriptive analysis. It focused on examining office spaces with significant biophilic design elements, as identified by Browning et al.
