The principle of sufficient reason in the Quran as a reason principle

Abstract (EN)

Many thinkers and Natural Philosophers have tried to find first principle since ancient times and they created different ideas. However, only Aristotle who analysised and explained causes separated causes in four topics and he made it systematiclly. Leibniz is the philosopher who accepted the principle of sufficient reason in his logic which provides to think correctly. According to principle of sufficient reason, there is the reason for being for everything that occurring. There must be enough reason for something to happen. According to this principle, each result is connected to the cause. The reason for the correctness of a judgment is another judgment. When many verses of the Quran are implemented according to Principle of sufficient reason, we can see principle of causality and purposefulness. In many verses of Quran we can see the different forms of sufficcient reason, God explains that people and other every living things purpose of creation. When we research verses of Quran which are about causality God explains why holy scriptures and prophets were dispacted, in addition it was mentioned they will be destroyed if we don't embrace holy scriptures and prophets. The study consists of three parts. In the first part; it is explained that the principle of sufficient reason which is a reason principle and occurring principle of causality and purposefulness when this principle implement on realm of existence. It is emphasized discussions on these principles from past to present. In the second part; it is examineted the causelity principle based on the verses and verses' comments. In the third part; it is examined the principle of purposefulness based on the verses and verses' comments. Keywords: Causality, Purposefulness, Aristotle, Quran, Verse
