Özet (EN)
Centrifugal casting is one of the largest casting branches in the industry. The centrifugal casting method can be used to cast parts that are symmetrical and on the same axis as cylinders or discs. In this method, the liquid metal is formed by pouring into the molds rotating horizontally or vertically about its axis. With this method hollow parts can be produced without core. The wall thickness of the piece is adjusted by the amount of molten metal poured into the mold. Due to the high centrifugal force, a very fine-grained structure is formed on the outer surfaces of these parts. In addition, the gas and slag in the molten metal are easily removed from the casting part by the centrifugal force to the outside. In this study, it is aimed to investigate the effects of casting cycles or centrifugal forces on the mechanical and microstructural properties of aluminum (AlSiCuNi) alloy materials obtained at different revolutions by centrifugal casting. One of the methods of production of large diameter seamless pipes is centrifugal casting method. The rotation speed of the molds used in this casting method is kept constant. However, the effect of die rotation speed on material properties is not well known. In this thesis, mainly by using AlSiCuNi alloy materials at different rotations or rotational speeds, their mechanical and microstructural segregation behaviors will be emphasized.
